Big fire at night, fire burned down more than a hundred stalls in Bac Ninh

According to people living around Do Xa market, Bac Ninh city, at 0:40 on July 13, people and the Management Board of Do Xa market (Bac Ninh) discovered a fire broke out at a kiosk in the market and then quickly spread to other kiosks.

Upon receiving the news, the fire fighting force of Bac Ninh province mobilized 12 specialized fire trucks and more than 100 officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire.

After 3 hours of firefighting, the fire was completely extinguished and did not spread to surrounding areas. The fire completely burned down 120 stalls and 4 kiosks with a total area of ​​1,500m2.

Initial estimated damage is about 33.18 billion VND

Hundreds of small traders were heartbroken at the loss of their assets, property, and materials that they had saved up over years of hard work. In just one night, the fire burned everything down, leaving only ashes in the ruins.

Mr. and Mrs. NVT's family, residing in Bac Ninh City, own two shoe kiosks at Do Xa market. They said: "After hearing about the fire in the market area, we quickly ran to help everyone put out the fire. However, the fire spread quickly, and the entrance to the market was narrow, so the stalls and kiosks were completely burned. My family bought two kiosks for nearly 2 billion VND a few years ago, plus more than 1 billion VND worth of goods that were completely burned. Now we have lost everything, we are so heartbroken."
