At the Saigon River Tunnel Park, authorities have installed 1,500 high-altitude fireworks and 30 low-altitude fireworks ready to launch at 9 p.m. today.
On April 30, at the Saigon River Tunnel Park, about 200 officers and soldiers from the Thu Duc City Military Command (Ho Chi Minh City) and militia units were busy completing the final stages to prepare for tonight's fireworks display.
Here, about 1,500 high-altitude artillery shells and 30 low-altitude artillery batteries have been arranged to set up a fireworks display.
This is the area with the most fireworks displays in the city.
In particular, this year, for the first time, Ho Chi Minh City organized a low-altitude fireworks display on a barge at Thao Dien villa area with 90 low-altitude fireworks displays and 10 pyrotechnic displays.
The low-altitude artillery pieces are also being wired. Each piece has a different shape to create its own effect in terms of color and range.

In which, the high-altitude point is at the beginning of the Saigon River Tunnel (Thu Thiem ward, Thu Duc city).
Four low-altitude locations include: Thao Dien Villa Area (Thao Dien Ward, Thu Duc City), this location is shot on a barge; Van Phuc Urban Area (Hiep Binh Phuoc Ward, Thu Duc City; Lot N4 - D6 Tay Bac Industrial Park (Tan An Hoi Commune, Cu Chi District) and Dam Sen Cultural Park (Ward 3, District 11).
To serve the fireworks display, Ho Chi Minh City closed roads passing through Ba Son Bridge, Khanh Hoi Bridge, Dong Khoi Street, Ton Duc Thang Street and many central routes from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on April 30.
