The 2022 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest of Hai Duong province has the theme "Aspiration to develop the country".

Participants are students from primary, secondary and high schools in the province. This year, candidates choose 1 of 2 topics given by the Organizing Committee, revolving around the topics of action plans to develop a reading culture for themselves and the community; arouse the love of reading... Each candidate submits an independent entry, expressed in Vietnamese.
Students express their ideas in the form of writing or recording a video, but must fully answer the questions in the exam. The books shared in the contest must be legally published in Vietnam.
Schools in the province will launch the contest from April 20 to June 15. Contestants will then submit their entries to the Provincial Library from June 16 to 20. The provincial closing and award ceremony is scheduled to take place in July. The contest organizers will select the 20 best entries to participate in the final round organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, scheduled to take place at the end of November 2022.
This is the second year Hai Duong has organized the Reading Culture Ambassador Contest.
* In response to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day on April 21, Ai Quoc Secondary School (Hai Duong City) organized a book display and introduction contest with the theme "Books - luggage for youth" for students in grades 7 and 8. Students chose and displayed their favorite books and presented on the display theme as well as introduced some typical books. At the end of the contest, class 7A won first prize.
On this occasion, the Provincial Police Youth Union presented Ai Quoc Secondary School with 120 books and 5 scholarships (each worth 300,000 VND) to students with difficult circumstances who are good at studying.
