Vocational schools in Hai Duong can accommodate 7,500 students after secondary school.

The province currently has 38 vocational training institutions, including 9 colleges and 4 secondary schools. There are 21 training institutions and joint training institutions for the 9+ system (both general education and vocational training).

Every year, the province enrolls about 3,700 students in the 9+ program. These vocational schools can accommodate about 7,500 students in the 9+ program.

In the 2021-2022 school year, the province has 29,225 ninth graders. In the 2022-2023 school year, public and private high schools, and the Center for Vocational Education - Continuing Education, the Center for Continuing Education - Foreign Languages, and the Provincial Information Technology Center are assigned about 25,000 quotas. Thus, there are more than 4,000 students in need who can study at colleges and vocational secondary schools in the province.

After graduating from junior high school, students studying the 9+ 3-year program will have a high school diploma and an intermediate diploma. By studying the "dual degree" program, students will receive free vocational training and be introduced to jobs after graduation. Students who want to study a vocational course to college will only take 1-1.5 years (depending on the profession).
