Students experience the space of 'literary village' at Mao Dien Temple of Literature

At the Mao Dien Temple of Literature Traditional Festival (Cam Giang, Hai Duong), the organizers recreated the royal examination - returning home to honor ancestors, the space of the 'literary village'.

On the afternoon of March 16, 60 students from Cam Dien and Cam Phuc Primary Schools (both in Phuc Dien commune) were led by the Board of Examiners to the "Young Champion" exam venue."

The students went through many rounds of competition with questions about Mao Dien Temple of Literature past and present.

After many rounds of competition, Le Duy Bao Minh, a 5th grade student at Cam Dien Primary School, has excelled and become the title of Champion.

The top candidate was carried in a palanquin from the examination school to "return home in glory to pay respect to his ancestors".

CThe students also prepared "scholar's rice" themselves. This was one of the many daily activities of the ancient scholars when taking exams at Mao Dien Temple of Literature.

This is the first time the re-enactment of the royal examination - returning home in glory to honor ancestors, the space of the 'literary village' has been held at Mao Dien Temple of Literature.
