The National Assembly passed a resolution approving the appointment of Politburo member and Party Central Committee Secretary Nguyen Hoa Binh; Minister of Finance Ho Duc Phoc and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son as Deputy Prime Ministers for the 2021-2026 term.
At the 8th Extraordinary Session on August 26, the National Assembly conducted the process of perfecting a number of positions, including approving the appointment of 3 Deputy Prime Ministers.
The approval of the appointment of three Deputy Prime Ministers was carried out by National Assembly deputies by secret ballot.
After completing the prescribed steps, the National Assembly discussed and voted to approve the Resolution approving the Prime Minister's proposal on the appointment to the position of Deputy Prime Minister for the 2021-2026 term.
The personnel approved for appointment as Deputy Prime Ministers include: Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary Nguyen Hoa Binh; Party Central Committee member, Minister of Finance Ho Duc Phoc and Party Central Committee member, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son, with a vote of 432/432 delegates present in favor.
After the reorganization, the Government leadership includes Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and 5 Deputy Prime Ministers: Tran Hong Ha, Le Thanh Long, Nguyen Hoa Binh, Ho Duc Phoc and Bui Thanh Son.
