Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Lien, Head of the Con Son - Kiep Bac Relic Management Board, said that in preparation for welcoming visitors on September 2 and the upcoming autumn festival, the relic site has been decorated with 2,000 red flags and string flags; 1,000 lanterns; 500 festival flags and red flags; 350 Buddhist streamers. In particular, 40 photo frames are on display introducing the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son and Kiep Bac relic and scenic complex on its journey to becoming a world heritage site. A promotional point for Kiep Bac lotus products is set up in the corridor of Kiep Bac temple; Kiep Bac lotus tea and Con Son chrysanthemum tea are promoted in the Con Son stream area, Thau Ngoc bridge, etc.
In addition, the route from National Highway 37 (An Linh intersection) to Kiep Bac Temple has been basically completed to serve tourists for convenient travel on the occasion of September 2 and the festival. The route is 5.1 km long, 22 m wide, 4 lanes, paved with a total investment of over 657 billion VND.
At the Stork Island eco-tourism area in Chi Lang Nam commune (Thanh Mien), from September 1, the entrance fee will be collected again at the price of 5,000 VND/person via electronic tickets. The management board of the tourist area has completed the installation of a ticket collection station, equipped with a computer and a ticket printer right at the entrance.
The Management Board of the Stork Island Eco-tourism Area also installed barriers outside the gate, dividing lanes for tourists and residential areas for convenient travel.
In addition, the tourist area management board has inspected and repaired 10 boats and 19 swan boats. This tourist area currently has 500 life jackets, ensuring safety for visitors.
