In 2022, the Blind Association of districts, towns and cities provided loans to 34 households from the National Fund for Employment and Poor Households with a total disbursement of nearly 1 billion VND. The association's facilities attracted nearly 77,000 customers for massage and cupping; produced and consumed about 1.6 million packages of toothpicks. Total revenue from production and services reached nearly 7.4 billion VND, down nearly 30% compared to 2019 (before the Covid-19 pandemic).
At the meeting to summarize the association's work in 2022 and deploy the 2023 tasks of the Provincial Association of the Blind on January 6, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association of the Blind awarded the "For the Happiness of the Blind" Medal to 5 individuals, and certificates of merit to 4 groups and 4 individuals; the Provincial Association of the Blind awarded certificates of merit to 28 groups and 56 individuals with outstanding achievements in association activities in 2022.
