All 4 Vietnamese students competing in the 2022 International Biology Olympiad won medals

Today (July 18), the Ministry of Education and Training received information on the official results of the Vietnamese national team at the 2022 International Biology Olympiad (IBO 2022) held in Armenia from July 10-18, with the participation of 63 countries and territories, 3 countries as observers with 231 contestants.

The Ministry of Education and Training said that the Vietnamese national team consisted of 4 students competing. As a result, 4/4 students won prizes, including: 1 Silver Medal, 3 Bronze Medals.

4 students won medals at the 2022 International Biology Olympiad.

Specifically, Truong Van Quoc Dat, a 12th grader from Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted, Thua Thien Hue, won a Silver Medal; Nguyen Phuc Lam, a 12th grader from Quang Trung High School for the Gifted, Binh Phuoc, won a Bronze Medal; Vo Tien Thanh, a 12th grader from Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted, Phu Tho, won a Bronze Medal; and Do Trong Phuoc Nguyen, a 11th grader from Ly Tu Trong High School for the Gifted, Can Tho, won a Bronze Medal.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, in the context of the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, Vietnamese students have prepared carefully, fully meeting the requirements of disease prevention and strict professional requirements of the Organizing Committee to take the theoretical and practical exams with the highest determination.

The achievements of the Vietnamese national team at the 2022 International Biology Olympiad continue to affirm the quality of general education, marking the position of excellent Biology students in the country in the international arena.
