After importing unlabeled bottles of e-cigarette oil to the factory, Nguyen Minh Khanh had his employees label and stamp the expiration date before smuggling them into the market.
On October 10, news from the Investigation Police Agency of Tan Binh District Police, Ho Chi Minh City, the unit issued a decision to urgently arrest Nguyen Minh Khanh (32 years old, from Ba Ria - Vung Tau) to investigate the act of Manufacturing and trading counterfeit goods.
The above decision has been approved by Tan Binh District People's Procuracy.
The investigation agency alleged that Khanh was assigned to manage the production and trading of essential oils for electronic cigarettes on behalf of Nguyen Thi Kim Ha (in the role of Director of Hapian Company and Dat Thong Company).

Accordingly, after these two companies imported unbranded bottles of e-cigarette essential oil to their factories, they ordered a large quantity of labels (with the origin stated as US - Made in USA) and then had their employees label and stamp the expiration date.
At the same time, Khanh also takes on the role of sales and distribution of the company's essential oils to the market.
Previously, on September 29, the Economic Police Team, Tan Binh District Police coordinated with Ward 13 Police to administratively inspect the warehouse of HAPIAN Company (Tran Van Danh Street) and discovered functional food products, electronic cigarette equipment (VAPE), and essential oils for electronic cigarettes without invoices or documents.
Expanding the investigation, on September 30, Tan Binh District Police searched the remaining warehouse of HAPIAN Company on Ba Vi Street, Ward 4, Tan Binh District and the Company's office on C18 Street, Ward 12, Tan Binh District.
The search results of the above 3 addresses temporarily seized exhibits, including: more than 5,600 boxes of 30ml essential oils (100 bottles/box), 100ml (50 bottles/box), finished products, semi-finished products of various types; more than 200 boxes of finished and semi-finished functional foods of various types; more than 2,600 electronic cigarette devices (VAPE); many related machines, equipment, and documents. The total value of the confiscated shipment is more than 70 billion VND.
