Inadequate traffic intersection of Vo Nguyen Giap Avenue and Truong Chinh Street

Vo Nguyen Giap Avenue is the main route connecting National Highway 5 with the Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway (Gia Loc District). Truong Chinh Street goes from the center of Hai Duong City to Dai An Industrial Park. Therefore, the intersection between Vo Nguyen Giap Avenue and Truong Chinh Street in Tu Minh Ward (Hai Duong City) has a large volume of people and vehicles, especially in the morning when people go to work and during rush hour in the afternoon. This area also has many heavy trucks passing through.

The roundabout is quite large, making it difficult for pedestrians to observe. In addition, some people have limited traffic awareness, not observing carefully or giving way.

From September 2023 to present, there have been 3 traffic accidents here, killing 1 person and injuring 3 others, becoming a "black spot" for traffic accidents.

It is recommended that the authorities install traffic lights at this intersection; and install speed bumps at the four entrances to the roundabout. People passing through this area should observe carefully to ensure safety when participating in traffic.
