On April 17, the Traffic Safety Committee of Hai Duong province sent a document requesting the Department of Transport of Hung Yen province to direct the unit managing and exploiting National Highway 38 to overcome the traffic infrastructure problems at km 33, National Highway 38, in Vinh Hung commune (Binh Giang).
Previously, at 7:10 p.m. on February 28, 2024, at km33, National Highway 38, in Vinh Hung Commune (Binh Giang), a traffic accident occurred, the motorcyclist crashed into a marker post in the same direction, then plunged into a drainage ditch, leading to death.
Through inspection of the accident scene, the Sat bridge area is new, the road is steep and curved, there is no corrugated iron strip from the bridge down to the end of the slope, and there is no lighting system.
To ensure traffic safety and order, the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee requested the Department of Transport of Hung Yen province to direct the unit managing and exploiting National Highway 38 to inspect and add corrugated iron strips with reflective eyes to guide from the bridge down the slope (left of the route), coordinate with the locality to close the connection point on the right side of the route at km 32+950 of National Highway 38; and add lighting to the Sat bridge area at km 33, National Highway 38.
