The Southeast Asian Games Federation Conference recently held in Cambodia has approved the list of official competitions at the 32nd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 32) in 2023.

Specifically, 44 approved sports include: Athletics; Aquatics (Swimming, Diving, Water Polo); Badminton; Basketball (5×5, 3×3); Boxing; Billiards; Cycling (Road, Cross-country); Traditional boat racing; Chess (Khmer Chess, Chinese Chess); Dance Sports; Fencing; Football; Golf; Gymnastics (Aerobic, Gymnastics); Hockey (grass & indoor); Judo; Karate; Bodybuilding; Petanque; Sailing; Sepak Takraw; Softball; Tennis; Table Tennis; Taekwondo; Modern Sports (Triathlon, Aquathlon, Duathlon); Volleyball (Indoor, Beach); Wrestling; Weightlifting; Wushu; Cricket; Diving; Floorball; Obstacle Course; Stickman; Jiujitsu; Khmer Martial Arts; Kick Boxing; Vovinam; Muay; Taekwondo ITF (Korean Martial Arts); Pencak Silat; E-sports; Jet ski racing.

Also at the 32nd SEA Games, Teqball was included in the competition program as a demonstration sport for future tournaments and was not counted in the overall achievements of the entire delegation.

In addition, 4 Olympic sports may still be proposed for inclusion in the following meetings, including: Archery, Shooting, Rowing and Canoeing.

The 32nd SEA Games with the slogan "Sports: Living in Peace" will take place from May 5 to 17, 2023 in the capital Phnom Penh and 4 other localities: Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, Kep and Kempot.

This is the first time Cambodia has hosted the largest sports event in Southeast Asia.

It is expected that about 10,000 people, including 7,000 athletes, coaches, and sports technical staff, will participate in this sporting event.

The ASEAN Para Games will also be held in Cambodia from June 1-10, 2023.
