On the morning of May 15, a representative of An Thanh Agricultural Service Cooperative, An Thanh Commune (Tu Ky) said that the An Thanh sandworm production area has just been certified by the TQC Quality Testing and Certification Center (Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations) for its products: rice, bananas, jackfruit, leafy vegetables (malabar spinach, jute, squash), and spices (basil, coriander, and river bones) produced in accordance with the requirements of the National Organic Agriculture Standard (TCVN 11041 - 2:2017).
The cooperative is currently cultivating 104.5 hectares of organic rice, 25 hectares of bananas, 1.5 hectares of leafy vegetables, and 1 hectare of spices. The fact that the cooperative's products are certified to meet organic standards is a favorable premise for agricultural products in the An Thanh worm production area to expand further.
