92 families participate in the 2025 'Sports Family' tournament in Hai Duong

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Duong has just opened the 2025 'Sports Family' tournament, attracting more than 200 athletes to participate.

The competition takes place immediately after the opening ceremony.

On the morning of February 8, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Duong opened the 2025 "Family Sports" table tennis, badminton and volleyball tournament at the Provincial Sports and Gymnasium.

This year's tournament attracted more than 200 athletes from 92 outstanding sports families from districts, towns and cities, equivalent to last year's tournament.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the tournament, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Duong Nguyen Thanh Trung said that the tournament will create a healthy playground, encourage the spirit of physical exercise, improve health and strengthen relationships between family members.

Athletes compete in three sports: table tennis, badminton and volleyball.

In table tennis, athletes compete in 3 events: team, mixed doubles, men's doubles.

Badminton competitions include: couples under 35, 36-55 and 56 years old, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles.

Volleyball is a men's doubles event with pairs of grandfather - grandson, father - son, brother - brother divided into two age groups under 45 and over 46.
