On the morning of February 16, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Duong opened the 2024 "Sports Family" Tournament at the Provincial Sports Gymnasium.

This year's tournament attracted more than 250 athletes from outstanding sports families in districts, towns, and cities. The number of athletes this year is nearly double that of 2023. The reason is that the tournament was held later after Tet than last year, and was held on the weekend, so it attracted a large number of athletes to participate.
Athletes compete in 3 events, including: table tennis (3 team events, mixed doubles, men's doubles); badminton (couple events for ages 35 and under, 36-55 and 56 and over; men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles); volleyball (men's doubles).
Compared to previous years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this year's tournament no longer includes tennis.
The “Family Sports” tournament will close on February 17.
