Kim Thanh district (Hai Duong) currently has 54 wharves violating loading regulations; houses and shacks exist on river banks, accounting for 84% of existing wharves.
According to the report of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Kim Thanh district currently has 64 production and business locations of 64 organizations and individuals. Of which, 25 locations are engaged in construction material business; 17 locations are engaged in coal business; 22 locations are engaged in other activities such as animal husbandry, brick production, handicrafts, etc.
Through inspection and survey, Kim Thanh district currently has 54 yards violating loading regulations; there are houses and shacks on the riverbank, accounting for 84% of the existing yards. Of these, there are 24 material trading points, 17 coal trading points and 13 other trading points violating regulations. Kim Thanh district is one of the localities with the highest rate of violating yards in the province.
It is currently the rainy and stormy season, the above violations are at risk of causing riverbank erosion, obstructing river flood drainage, and threatening the safety of the dike system. Typical violations include the wharfs of Huy Hoang Logistic Company Limited (Kim Lien Commune), Tat Binh HD Company Limited (Lai Vu Commune), Vietnam Travel Guide Company Limited (Kim Lien Commune), and Mr. Le Duc Tuan's business household (Thuong Vu Commune).
