From 2016 to present, the Department of Health has accepted 1,369 topics, initiatives, and technical improvements in the medical field. In 2017, there were the most accepted topics, initiatives, and technical improvements with 204 topics and initiatives.

However, over the past 7 years, there have been 59 topics and initiatives that were not eligible for acceptance due to not meeting the conditions.

The accepted topics, initiatives, and technical improvements all meet the prescribed criteria, have high practical applicability, and bring about socio-economic efficiency and are practical for patients. Some outstanding topics include evaluating the early results of laparoscopic surgery to treat rectal cancer at the Provincial General Hospital from 2018 to 2022; Evaluating the current status of medical examination and treatment of patients with 5 common cancers at the Provincial General Hospital from 2021 to 2022; Commenting on the results of the technique of transthoracic biopsy using Tru-cut needle for mass lesions in the lungs...
