3 people from Hai Duong recognized as Professors in 2023 are all female

On the morning of November 6, Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Chief of Office of the State Council of Professors, said that the Council has just announced the list of 630 candidates (28 majors) meeting the standards for the title of professor and associate professor in 2023 (21 candidates less than the proposal from the Council of Professors of majors/interdisciplinary).

Of these, 58 professor candidates and 572 associate professor candidates met the standards. Particularly for the two majors of Security Science and National Defense Science, there were 42 qualified candidates. However, the State Council of Professors did not publish detailed scientific backgrounds of qualified candidates to protect their privacy.

In the list, there are 3 people from Hai Duong who were recognized as professors: Do Thi Hai Ha (born in 1975, from Gia Loc district, working at the National Economics University, majoring in economics); Tran Van Khanh (born in 1973, from Nam Sach, working at Hanoi Medical University, majoring in medicine); Dinh Thi Mai Thanh (born in 1974, from Hai Duong city, working at the Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, majoring in chemistry).

This is the result of the 12th meeting of the State Council of Professors for the 2018-2023 term, which took place on November 4 and 5.

The State Council of Professors has published the entire list and information of qualified candidates on the websites of higher education institutions and the Council's website.

Within 15 days, if there is no petition or complaint, the Chairman of the State Council of Professors will sign a decision to recognize qualified candidates for the title of professor or associate professor.

Previously, the Council of Professors of all disciplines and interdisciplinary disciplines proposed to consider and recognize 606 candidates who met the standards for the title of professor and associate professor in 26 disciplines. For the two disciplines of Security Science and Defense Science, the State Council of Professors did not announce the detailed scientific background of qualified candidates.

The Department of Defense Science has 30 candidates proposed to meet the criteria for recognition, including 1 professor candidate and 29 associate professor candidates.

The Department of Security Science has 14 qualified candidates, including 1 professor candidate and 13 associate professor candidates.

Thus, the total number of candidates proposed by 28 majors and interdisciplinary fields that meet the criteria for recognition as professors and associate professors in 2023 is 650 candidates.
