These households are located on the west side of Highway 389. Previously, 53 households had completed clearance of violations on the east side of Highway 389.
On October 20, about 20 households in Quang Thanh commune (Kinh Mon, Hai Duong) violated the irrigation corridor of Phung Khac canal, KC1 began to clear the violating construction.
According to Mr. Luu Huu Nhan, Chairman of Quang Thanh Commune People's Committee, the violations occurred from 1990 to 2017. The households built brick walls, covered warehouses and rented rooms with an area of several dozen to several hundred square meters, the scale of the violations was smaller than the 53 cases on the east side of Road 389.
According to the Chairman of Quang Thanh Commune People's Committee, households violating the regulations must complete the clearance before October 26. The locality will support human resources and machinery for households that apply for support. After the above time, the Commune People's Committee will report to Kinh Mon Town People's Committee for handling according to the provisions of law.
Previously, the Quang Thanh Commune People's Committee organized many campaigns to propagate and mobilize people. On October 19, the above households signed a commitment to voluntarily dismantle illegal constructions (except for 1 household who was absent from home).
Quang Thanh commune is a hot spot for violations of irrigation corridors in Kinh Mon town. The commune has 76 works violating irrigation corridors, the most in Kinh Mon town (the whole town has 255 violating works).
After clearing 20 households violating the irrigation corridor of Phung Khac canal, KC1 above, Quang Thanh commune still has about 10 cases of violations concentrated in Dong Quan village.
