Two groups of young people in Kinh Mon fought at night, 10 people were prosecuted

5 out of 10 subjects were prosecuted for disturbing public order.

The defendants include: Le Minh Tan, Pham Huu Dung, Nguyen Van Thang, Vu Duc Dai Thang, Nguyen Van Tien (all born in 2006, all residing in Thang Long); Luu Ngoc Thanh, Nguyen Quoc Tuan (all born in 2006, all residing in Quang Thanh); Nguyen Huy Hoan (born in 2005, residing in Le Ninh); Tien Van Bang (born in 2006, residing in Bach Dang) and La Tuan Anh (born in 2006, residing in That Hung, both in Kinh Mon town) for the crime of disturbing public order.

Previously, on December 16, 2022, the Investigation Police Agency of Kinh Mon Town Police received a crime report from Hiep Hoa Commune Police about an incident with signs of disturbing public order and causing injuries occurring on Road 389B in Hiep Hoa Commune. The Town Police conducted an investigation and determined that due to a conflict, Tran Van Cuong (born in 2006, residing in Xa Son, Quang Thanh) and Nguyen Trong Son (born in 2006, residing in Hue Tri, An Phu, both in Kinh Mon Town) made an appointment to meet at around 8:00 p.m. on December 11, 2022 at Dich Son fishing lake area, Hiep Hoa to fight. At about 8:30 p.m. the same day, on provincial road 389B in Hiep Hoa commune, a group of young men led by Tran Van Cuong (including 12 subjects) and a group of young men led by Nguyen Trong Son (including 20 subjects) rode many motorbikes, carrying glass bottles, pig spears, iron pipes and some other weapons to chase and fight each other, causing public disorder, negatively affecting security, order and social safety, causing outrage among the people.

The Investigation Police Agency of Kinh Mon Town Police is continuing to consolidate files and documents to handle the remaining subjects involved in the melee.
