Prosecuted 2 subjects robbed gold from woman in Tan Huong commune cemetery (Ninh Giang)

According to the Hai Duong Provincial Police Electronic Information Portal, the Hai Duong Provincial Police Investigation Agency has issued a decision to prosecute the accused Doan Van Nhat (born in 1991, residing in Tan Thanh ward, Duong Kinh district, Hai Phong city) and Pham Van Thuc (born in 1987, residing in Ha Lam ward, Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province) for robbery.

The victim of the robbery was Ms. Bui Thi Nga (born in 1976, residing in Tan Huong commune, Ninh Giang district, Hai Duong province). At about 2:40 p.m. on April 1, while Ms. Nga was cleaning her husband's grave at Duong Rong cemetery (Tan Huong commune), she was overpowered by two people and robbed of a necklace and a pair of gold earrings, worth a total of about 32 million VND.

After receiving the report, Hai Duong Provincial Police urgently investigated and identified Nhat and Thuc as the two suspects who carried out the robbery.

The two suspects confessed that they wanted money to spend, so they came up with the idea of ​​robbing property. When the Duong Rong cemetery was deserted, they discovered Ms. Nga wearing jewelry, so the two suspects overpowered her and robbed her of her gold necklace and earrings. Afterwards, Nhat and Thuc took the stolen items to sell at a gold and silver store in Hai Phong City for 18 million VND.

Pham Van Thuc has 1 previous conviction for robbery and 1 previous conviction for theft. Doan Van Nhat has 2 previous convictions for theft.

Hai Duong Provincial Police recommend that people should be vigilant in protecting their property, not wear expensive jewelry or carry a lot of cash when going out, and not go alone to deserted places... to create conditions for criminals to commit crimes.
