14 BOT stations under scrutiny for toll revenue management

There are 14 BOT toll stations on many routes that will be under surveillance regarding toll station operation management and road service fee collection.

The Vietnam Road Administration has just issued a decision on the issuance of the 2024 Inspection and Supervision Plan for toll stations on the national highway system managed by the agency.

Accordingly, there are 14 toll stations included in the 2024 inspection and supervision plan of the Vietnam Road Administration, including: Hac Tri Bridge toll station; Pha Lai toll station; Dai Yen toll station; Hanoi-Lao Cai Expressway Project toll stations; National Highway 1 toll station in Bac Giang province; Quan Hau toll station; km1425+200 toll station, National Highway 1, Khanh Hoa province; km1807+500 toll station, Ho Chi Minh road; km0+700 Cu Mong tunnel toll station; Cai Lay toll station; T1 toll station, km16+905, National Highway 91, Can Tho city; km2171+200 toll station, National Highway 1, Bac Lieu province; Rach Mieu bridge toll station; Can Tho-Phung Hiep toll station, km2079+535, National Highway 1, Can Tho city.

The inspection and supervision this time focuses on the management and operation of toll stations and the collection of road service fees at BOT projects. The inspection and supervision plan will take place from April to November 2024.

Vietnam Road Administration requires road management areas to base on this plan to issue decisions to establish inspection teams, develop inspection and supervision outlines; organize implementation to ensure publicity and transparency; report inspection and supervision schedules to the department 10 days before conducting inspection and supervision.

Within 7 days from the end of the inspection and supervision at the unit, the Road Management Areas shall issue a notice of inspection and supervision results and send it to the Vietnam Road Administration for synthesis and reporting to the Ministry of Transport.
