According to regulations, yellow light signals must stop before the stop line; in case you are on the stop line or have passed the stop line and the light signal is yellow, you may continue.
Clause 4, Article 11 of the Law on Road Traffic Safety and Order 2024 stipulates traffic light signals from January 1, 2025 as follows: Traffic light signals have 3 colors, including: green, yellow, red; with or without time display.
Road users must comply with the following: green light signals mean they can go; in the case of pedestrians or wheelchairs of disabled people walking on the roadway, drivers of vehicles participating in road traffic must reduce speed or stop to give way to pedestrians or wheelchairs of disabled people to cross the road.
The yellow light signal must stop before the stop line; in case of driving on the stop line or having passed the stop line and the light signal is yellow, the driver may continue; in case of flashing yellow light signal, the driver of a vehicle participating in road traffic may proceed but must observe, reduce speed or stop to give way to pedestrians, wheelchairs of the disabled crossing the road or other vehicles.
Red light means no go.
