At the 2024 'Red River Convergence' Mass Art Performance, the Cheo play 'Good Girl Teaches Her Husband' by the Hai Duong provincial troupe won 1 gold medal and 2 silver medals.
On the evening of November 17, the Organizing Committee of the 2024 "Red River Convergence" Mass Art Performance awarded a gold medal to actress Doan Thi Chinh (as the wife's sister); a silver medal to actor Nguyen Van Loi (as the husband's brother) and a silver medal for the play "Good Girl Teaches Her Husband". Actress Doan Thi Chinh belongs to the Mass Art Troupe, Hai Duong Province's Center for Culture and Arts; actor Nguyen Van Loi is a cultural officer of Nhan Quyen Commune (Binh Giang).
With a duration of 45 minutes, the play “Good Girl Teaches Her Husband” criticizes the bad habits of a husband who is addicted to gambling, leading to bankruptcy. With the love and forgiveness of his wife, he came to his senses and devoted himself to business. He and his wife, together with the villagers, contributed to building a model new rural commune.

The author breathed the breath of life full of current events in rural areas into the work. This is also the new feature of Cheo plays.
The work is by author Vu Cong Bang, directed by Do Thi Mai Hue, music and conductor of the Kim Hoan Meritorious Artist Orchestra. The play was rehearsed by 25 actors, musicians from the Provincial Cultural and Artistic Center, Hai Duong Cheo Theater and collaborators for nearly a month.
The mass art performance with the theme "Red River Convergence" in 2024 will take place from November 14-17 at the Thai Binh Provincial Convention Center, co-organized by the Department of Grassroots Culture (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism).
This year's festival attracted nearly 500 actors and musicians from 8 mass art troupes from provinces and cities: Hung Yen, Ha Nam, Hai Duong, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Vinh Phuc, Thanh Hoa and Thai Binh.
The organizing committee awarded 22 gold and silver medals to groups and individuals participating in the festival.
