Merge the Film Distribution and Screening Center into the Provincial Cultural and Arts Center

Comrade Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Luu Van Ban delivered a concluding speech at the regular meeting in June (7th time) of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the regular meeting of June (7th) on the morning of June 23, the Provincial People's Committee basically agreed with the content of the submission of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism requesting approval of the project to merge the Film Distribution and Screening Center into the Hai Duong Provincial Cultural and Art Center. The reorganization of public service units is in the direction of reducing focal points, restructuring the organizational apparatus to ensure streamlining, and improving the quality of propaganda work to serve political tasks.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Luu Van Ban, noted that after the merger, it is necessary to pay attention to operational efficiency, generating revenue for operations, and the lives of workers. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinates with the Department of Finance and related units to review the cultural sector's facilities and rearrange them accordingly. On that basis, if the facilities are degraded and do not meet the requirements, it is necessary to propose renovation, upgrading, and repair to ensure that they meet the requirements. If there are any problems, report to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and resolution. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinates with the Provincial People's Committee Office to complete the report and submit it to the Party Committee according to regulations. Note that the report needs to have an assessment and supplement of facilities and equipment to ensure the performance of assigned tasks.
