The State Bank of Vietnam has just announced information on restructuring according to the new organizational structure. State Bank branches nationwide will be grouped and divided into 15 regions.
The State Bank's organizational structure has been reviewed, rearranged, and reorganized its affiliated units, ensuring compliance with the orientation in Plan No. 141/KH-BCĐTKNQ18 dated December 6, 2024 of the Steering Committee on Summarizing the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW.
According to information obtained by Hai Duong Newspaper reporters, after completing the new organizational structure from March 1, the State Bank branches nationwide will be grouped and divided into 15 regions. The State Bank branch in Hai Duong province (currently) will belong to the State Bank region 6, including the provinces of Hai Phong, Hung Yen, Quang Ninh, Thai Binh and Hai Duong. The headquarters of the State Bank region 6 is located in Hai Phong.

The current structure of the State Bank of Vietnam, Hai Duong branch includes 4 departments and equivalents: Branch Inspection - Supervision, General - Accounting, Administration, Human Resources and Internal Control, Currency - Treasury.
The branch's staff includes 1 director, 3 deputy directors, 3 department heads, 1 chief inspector - supervisor. The total staff on the payroll is 56 people.
Previously, strictly implementing the direction of the Central Steering Committee and the Government Steering Committee, based on the appraisal opinions of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Justice, the State Bank has developed and completed a plan to reorganize the apparatus and submitted a report to the Government for consideration and issuance of a decree regulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the State Bank.
On February 24, 2025, the Government issued Decree No. 26/2025/ND-CP stipulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the State Bank, effective from March 1, 2025, replacing Decree No. 102/2022/ND-CP dated December 12, 2022 of the Government, amended and supplemented by Decree No. 146/2024/ND-CP dated November 6, 2024.
