This news site even reported that on the afternoon of March 24, striker Nguyen Van Toan answered an interview with the content: "As long as coach Philippe Troussier is still a coach, Vietnamese football will continue to decline because it is not suitable. He does not understand the psychology of the players."
In response to this information, on the evening of March 24, a representative of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) confirmed that Quang Hai and other key players had not asked to leave the Vietnam national team. The information circulating on social media is fabricated.
