Marie Curie II Secondary and High School is about to come into operation

Marie Curie II Secondary and High School was established under Decision No. 2198/QD-UBND dated October 10, 2023 of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province. The project started on December 12, 2023 and is expected to be operational on August 8, 2024 with a total investment of VND 123 billion.

The investor representative said that this is the second campus of Marie Curie Secondary and High School. Therefore, the teaching staff, admission and recruitment processes, and operations of both campuses are shared, with the aim of giving students the same educational experience at both campuses. The second campus, when put into operation, will meet the learning needs of students in Hai Duong City and neighboring areas, especially students in the western part of the city, reducing pressure on public schools in both secondary and high schools.

Marie Curie Secondary and High School (campus 1) has been operating for 15 years with the philosophy of putting educational quality first. Admissions are strictly implemented.

In the 2023 high school graduation exam, Marie Curie Secondary and High School ranked 29th out of 54 high schools in the province and was awarded a certificate of merit by the Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee for its excellent achievements. With this result, Marie Curie Secondary and High School maintained its first position among non-public high schools and was better than many public schools in the province.

Tuition fees are transparent. Tuition fees for students entering grades 6 and 10 are 800,000 VND/month (morning classes, general education program). In addition, fees for quality assessment/assessment, exam questions, exam papers, photocopies are 70,000 VND/assessment/month; electricity, water, sanitation, parking, electronic contact books, and depreciation of facilities are 200,000 VND/month. Thus, the basic cost per month is about 1,070,000 VND; 5,350,000 VND/semester/5 months. The school commits to a maximum of 45 students/class for high school students and 35 students/class for middle school students.

The school at both campuses organizes boarding and pick-up services for students according to their needs. Boarding service fee (lunch and break at school) is 45,000 VND/day; pick-up service fee is 45,000 VND/trip based on actual service usage.

The school also has additional knowledge and foreign language programs in cooperation with foreign countries with additional tuition fees.

The school has many preferential policies, attractive scholarships, and tuition reductions for students from disadvantaged families, families with preferential policies, and students with excellent academic achievements.

Specifically, for secondary school students, 20% tuition fee reduction for the entire study period for students with enough points to pass the high-quality public block of Hai Duong city.

For high school students, 100% tuition fee exemption for the entire duration of study is given to students who win first prize at the provincial level in math, literature, English; have an IELTS score of 7.0; and have a high school grade 10 entrance exam score of 45 points or higher. 50% tuition fee reduction for the entire duration of study is given to students who win second prize at the provincial level in math, literature, English; have an IELTS score of 6.0 or higher; and have a high school grade 10 entrance exam score of 40 or higher. 25% tuition fee reduction for the entire duration of study is given to students who win third prize at the provincial level in math, literature, English; have an IELTS score of 5.0 or higher; and have a high school grade 10 entrance exam score that allows them to enter Hong Quang High School or higher.

In addition, in the 2024-2025 school year, students choosing to study at campus 2 will receive a 20% tuition reduction.

From the 2023-2024 school year, Marie Curie Secondary and High School has been licensed by the Hai Duong Department of Education and Training and the Victorian Education Commission (Australia) to operate the Vietnam - Australia dual degree program. At the end of grade 12, students will take the exam to obtain a Vietnamese high school diploma and a Victorian high school diploma (Australia). The school is also the first educational institution in the North to be licensed to operate the best quality dual degree program of the Australian Federation. This is a great opportunity for students with good English proficiency and planning to study abroad. The condition for participating in the program is that students have an IELTS certificate of 5.0 or higher.
