Four people from Gia Loc district (Hai Duong) went to Do Xa communal house, Ung Hoe commune (Ninh Giang) to steal a stone pot, worth 11 million VND.
On the morning of October 23, the People's Court of Ninh Giang district tried four defendants, all from Gia Loc district, including: Nguyen Van Tuyen, born in 1991, in Doan Thuong commune; Nguyen Van Thang, born in 1987, in Quang Minh commune; Dao Van Hung, born in 1991 and Pham Van Tuyen, born in 1983, both in Dong Quang commune, for the crime of property theft.
At around 0:30 on June 14, 2023, at Do Xa communal house, taking advantage of the village security guard's negligence, the above 4 subjects secretly appropriated a stone basin under the management of Ung Hoe Commune People's Committee. The stone basin is worth 11 million VND.
The jury sentenced Nguyen Van Tuyen to 12 months in prison, Dao Van Hung to 11 months in prison, Pham Van Tuyen to 8 months in prison, and Nguyen Van Thang to 10 months in prison with a suspended sentence.
