On March 18, over 5 million children from more than 12,000 primary schools from 63 provinces and cities across the country participated in a mass performance and set a Vietnamese record.
The performance was organized by the Central Council of Young Pioneers in collaboration with the LOF KUN milk brand (International Dairy Products Joint Stock Company - IDP) and was recognized by the Vietnam Record Organization (VietKings) as the "Children's performance with the largest number of primary schools participating nationwide".
Accordingly, over 5 million primary school students participated simultaneously at 12,000 schools nationwide. The main bridge took place in Ha Tinh province and directly connected with 9 bridges in the following provinces and cities: Ha Giang, Hoa Binh, Bac Giang, Quang Nam, Dak Lak, Ben Tre, An Giang, Hanoi, and Ho Chi Minh City.
All students from across the country performed a performance to the tune of two songs: "Proud of Vietnamese Children" and "Kun Study Well". This performance later set a national record with the largest number of participants ever.
The organizers said that the program is not only a fun and physical activity for primary school students, the largest ever, but also helps to spread the educational message of gratitude, for the happiness of the young generation and to nurture good values in society.
This performance with the largest number of primary schools participating, setting a Vietnamese record, is also the highlight of the "Healthy Children" Festival, part of a series of activities for Youth Month, commemorating the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2024) and the 70th anniversary of the historic Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024) of the Central Council of Young Pioneers.
