From August 8-9, the Trade Union of Sumidenso Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Dai An Industrial Park, Hai Duong) organized a "Zero-VND Booth" with the theme "Sharing love, going to school with children".
The "0 Dong booth" sells nearly 5,500 products including: clothes, books, school supplies, toys, bicycles, shoes... All of these products are donated and supported by the company's staff, workers, and employees.
The activity attracted over 2,500 people to visit and choose items at the booth. There were 10 union members in difficult circumstances in the highlands and in areas affected by floods and landslides who wished to request a large number of pants and shirts to share with their hometown. The company's union selected and packaged more than 60 pants and shirts for each of these union members and supported 200,000 VND/person to transport the items back to their hometown.
"Zero-dong booth" organized by the Trade Union of Sumidenso Vietnam Co., Ltd. aims to demonstrate the spirit of "Mutual love and support", "Helping each other" among the company's staff, workers and employees. It targets union members in difficult circumstances; supporting union members' children with more clothes and books to go to school in the new school year.
