Hai Duong City is deserted on the night of the Euro 2024 semi-final, pawnshops close early

At 2 a.m. on July 10, the Euro 2024 semi-final 1 between Spain and France took place. Unlike many previous Euros, shops and streets in Hai Duong City were deserted.

According to Hai Duong Newspaper reporters, along the streets there are shops, night eateries, coffee shops such as: Pham Hong Thai, Hoang Van Thu, Bach Dang, Truong Chinh, Nguyen Luong Bang, Tran Hung Dao, Hong Quang... are all closed. Even the entire Tue Tinh culinary street has only one night eatery open but it does not organize football viewing. Around the area with many students such as Nguyen Thi Due, Vu Huu, Thanh Binh streets are also deserted.

In families, the atmosphere of watching football is also gloomy. Some football lovers said that they could not stay up late to watch the first semi-final. If they did watch, they would not gather in large groups but only watch individually at home. Therefore, both on the street and in families, the cheering sounds familiar to the king of sports are rare.

Some people said that the match started late, so they chose to watch it again in the morning to stay healthy for work. Some people who watched it didn't shout loudly because the match started around 3am.

According to the Euro 2024 football schedule, the second semi-final will take place at 2:00 on July 11 between the English Lions and the Dutch Orange Hurricane. The final will take place at 2:00 on July 15.

The European Football Championship - UEFA Euro 2024 begins on June 14 in Germany. This is the third time Germany has hosted the UEFA Euro finals.
