On October 8, the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations coordinated with Good People International (GPI) of Korea to present 830 gifts to disadvantaged families affected by storm No. 3 in Hai Duong.

The units presented gifts to disadvantaged families affected by storm No. 3 in the communes and wards of Hiep Hoa, An Luu (Kinh Mon), Van Duc, Bac An (Chi Linh). Each locality was supported with 150 gifts, with Bac An commune receiving 380 gifts.
Each gift given to the households includes 1 blanket, 10 kg of rice, 1 box of instant noodles, 1 mosquito spray, 1 mosquito net, 1 bottle of cooking oil, 1 package of nutritious cereal powder, 3 boxes of Safeguard soap. The total value of the aid gifts is more than 1 billion VND.
Previously, on October 3, the People's Committee of Hai Duong province approved receiving emergency international aid from the Korean GPI Organization.
