The Prime Minister assigned tasks to the newly appointed Deputy Prime Ministers and Ministers.

On August 26, right after the National Assembly approved the appointment and General Secretary and President To Lam presented the President's decision to appoint three Deputy Prime Ministers and two Ministers, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a meeting, congratulated and assigned tasks to the newly appointed comrades.

Specifically, the Deputy Prime Ministers: Nguyen Hoa Binh, Ho Duc Phoc, Bui Thanh Son; Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Do Duc Duy; Minister of Justice Nguyen Hai Ninh.

Attending the meeting were Politburo members: National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man; Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Party Central Committee's Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac; Minister of National Defense Phan Van Giang; along with Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Party Central Committee's External Relations Commission Le Hoai Trung; Head of the Party Central Committee's Economic Commission Tran Luu Quang; Deputy Prime Ministers Tran Hong Ha and Le Thanh Long; Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Government agencies; leaders of central ministries, departments and branches.

Congratulating the Deputy Prime Ministers and Ministers who have just been approved for appointment by the National Assembly and General Secretary and President To Lam on handing over the appointment decisions, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that this is a great honor and also a heavy responsibility that the Party and State trust and entrust to you.

The Prime Minister hopes that the newly appointed Deputy Prime Ministers and Ministers will closely follow and seriously implement the instructions of General Secretary and President To Lam when handing over the appointment decisions.

At the same time, promote strengths and working experience, together with the Government, inherit and promote the traditions, valuable experiences, great results and achievements of the Government through the periods, solidarity, unity, discipline, integrity, innovation, resolute and effective actions, excellently complete assigned tasks, especially the goals and tasks set forth by the 13th National Congress of the Party; wholeheartedly serve the Fatherland, serve the people, all for the benefit of the Party, the nation, the people, for the strong and prosperous development of the country, for the happiness and prosperity of the people.

Congratulating comrade Tran Luu Quang on being trusted, mobilized and assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Head of the Central Economic Commission, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh acknowledged and highly appreciated his important contributions and dedication in his position as Deputy Prime Minister; hoping that he would continue to coordinate and share with the Government and Government agencies to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

On behalf of the newly appointed comrades, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh emphasized that this is a great honor, as well as a very heavy responsibility before the Party, State and people.

He vowed to constantly strive, maintain and promote solidarity, unanimity, and make efforts with the Government to excellently fulfill assigned tasks, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.
