The Provincial People's Council agreed to reclaim nearly 290 hectares of land to implement two new urban area projects, Lien Hong golf course, and a mixed-use urban area east of Vo Nguyen Giap Avenue.
On the morning of December 11, at the 28th Session, the 17th Hai Duong Provincial People's Council passed a resolution on approving land recovery; allowing the conversion of land use purposes for rice cultivation and production forest land to implement projects and works in the province in 2025.
Accordingly, the People's Council of Hai Duong province approved the recovery of more than 2,602 hectares of land to implement 428 projects and works in the province. Of which, Hai Duong city has the largest area of recovered land with nearly 564 hectares of recovered land to implement 48 projects and works.
The two largest projects are the Lien Hong New Urban Area and Golf Course Project in Lien Hong Commune (recovering 127.2 hectares) and the Mixed Urban Area Project east of Vo Nguyen Giap Avenue (recovering 162 hectares).

Hai Duong Provincial People's Council also allowed the change of use purpose of more than 1,847 hectares of rice land and 7.73 hectares of production forest land to implement 446 projects and works in the province.
