The male body found in the car under the Hoa Binh hydroelectric lake is a bank employee

On the afternoon of December 9, Hoa Binh Provincial Police informed about the identity of the man who died in a car in the Hoa Binh hydroelectric lake area (in San Sop hamlet, Son Thuy commune, Mai Chau district).

The victim was identified as Mr. HTT (born in 1978, residing in Sub-zone 3, Moc Chau town, Moc Chau district, Son La province), an officer of the Social Policy Bank of Van Ho district, Son La province.

According to the Hoa Binh Provincial Police, through the testimony provided by Ms. DTH (born in 1979, wife of Mr. HTT), the car with license plate 28A-017.30 was driven away from home by her husband on November 26.

Mai Chau District Police, the Criminal Techniques Department of Hoa Binh Provincial Police and Mai Chau District People's Procuracy are urgently verifying and investigating the case.

Earlier, at 8:00 a.m. the same day, Son Thuy Commune Police (Mai Chau District) received a report from local residents about the discovery of a car with license plate 28A-017.30 falling into the Hoa Binh Hydroelectric Reservoir.

Upon receiving the news, Mai Chau District Police mobilized forces and vehicles to rescue and salvage the vehicle. During the salvage, the authorities discovered a male body inside the vehicle.
