Thanh Mien district proposed Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee to consider and recognize Doan Tung and Le Hong communes as advanced new rural areas in 2024.
According to the Thanh Mien District New Rural Coordination Office, by November 28, the district had additional communes Le Hong and Doan Tung reaching the advanced new rural finish line.
The above communes have all completed 19 criteria according to regulations. Average income per capita is from 75-78 million VND/person/year... 100% of rural roads have been expanded and concreted. All 3 levels of education have met national standards. The poverty rate has decreased to 0.6%. All villages and residential areas have achieved cultural titles. The rate of people satisfied with the results of building advanced new rural areas is high. Le Hong and Doan Tung communes both have typical 3-star OCOP products...
In recent times, Le Hong and Doan Tung communes have focused resources to invest in completing the criteria. These are also two typical localities of the district in mobilizing people to join hands in building advanced new rural areas.
In 2024, Thanh Mien district will support each commune to achieve advanced new rural status with 5 billion VND, and model new rural status with 3 billion VND. Up to now, only Chi Lang Nam commune in the whole district has achieved advanced new rural status and model new rural status.
