Gia Loc district strives to complete advanced new rural areas in 2024

According to the Steering Committee of the National Target Program for New Rural Development in Gia Loc district, of the 9 criteria of the advanced new rural district, the district has achieved 5 criteria including: planning; traffic; irrigation and disaster prevention; electricity; security, order and public administration. The criteria the district has not achieved include: culture - health - education; economy; environment; quality of living environment.

To complete the missing criteria, Gia Loc district will install 20 outdoor sports and exercise equipment in the square area west of the town. Speed ​​up the progress of completing the documents for approval of fire prevention and fighting procedures, hand over Tram Bong market to Quang Minh Commune People's Committee for management and exploitation according to regulations. Require 100% of communes and towns to sign contracts with units and enterprises to collect and treat solid and hazardous waste. The total cost of building the missing criteria is over 240 billion VND, of which the Central and provincial governments are requested to support over 181 billion VND, the rest is from the district and commune budgets and people's contributions.

Gia Loc district strives to complete the dossier to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for review, consideration, and proposal for appraisal and recognition of the district meeting advanced new rural standards in 2024.

According to the plan, Hai Duong strives to have the districts of Cam Giang, Gia Loc, Nam Sach and Kim Thanh meet advanced new rural standards by 2025.
