Thanh Mien mobilizes social resources to install lighting on 30 roads

According to the People's Committee of Thanh Mien district (Hai Duong), by June 11, localities in the district had completed installing lighting on 30 roads with a total cost of about 1.5 billion VND from socialized sources.

Ngu Hung Commune installed a lighting system in Thuong hamlet, La Ngoai village.

Recently, communes and towns in Thanh Mien district have installed lighting on 30 rural roads with a total length of nearly 10 km. The total cost is about 1.5 billion VND, mainly from voluntary contributions from the people.

The communes of Tu Cuong, Hong Phong, Ngo Quyen, Tan Trao, and Thanh Giang have completed the installation of lighting on the main roads, 5 months ahead of schedule. The projects put into use help people travel more conveniently, contributing to maintaining local security and order.

Thanh Mien District strives to complete the installation of lighting on 43 rural roads by 2024. This is part of the district's breakthrough work, which is to build a "bright, green, clean, beautiful" landscape from socialized sources.
