Russian cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky and Belarusian Marina Vasilevskaya joined the ISS last month, the Russian space agency Roscosmos said. They returned to Earth with American astronaut Loral O'Hara, who has been on the ISS since September last year.

Earlier, Russia's Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on March 23. The launch was originally scheduled for March 21 but was canceled at the last minute. Roscosmos chief Yuri Borisov said a sudden drop in power supply caused the spacecraft's safety systems to abort the launch at the last minute.
