Female delegates of the People's Council at the commune level of Tu Ky and Binh Giang districts participated in the discussion and shared about their journey to run for the People's Council.
On the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union and Vietnamese Women's Day October 20, APHEDA (Australian People's Organization for Overseas Health, Education and Development) has coordinated with the 8/3 Employment Service Center (Provincial Women's Union) to organize a network activity program "Female People's Council Delegates" in Tu Ky and Binh Giang districts.
Participating in the program, female delegates of the People's Council at the commune level of the two localities discussed and shared about their journey of running for the People's Council, the advantages and challenges when performing the role of People's Council delegates; and their own lessons learned in the process of performing the role of People's Council delegates. Also at the meeting, the delegates participated in the basic knowledge test about the People's Council and People's Council delegates, thereby contributing to improving the capacity of female People's Council delegates.
Tu Ky and Binh Giang are two localities of Hai Duong receiving financial aid from APHEDA to implement the project "Promoting gender equality - Strengthening the role of female elected representatives in the political field", with implementation period from 2023-2026.
*On this occasion, the Women's Union and the Youth Union of Nam Sach town (Nam Sach) presented Nam Sach town Secondary School with a 2024 mural painting project on traffic safety worth 9 million VND.
