On the morning of June 18, in Hanoi, the Press - Artists Committee (Sao Do Club) held a meeting to celebrate the 98th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2023).

On the side of Hai Duong province, comrades: Trieu The Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Quang Phuc, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Nguyen Duc Tuan, Member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, and leaders of a number of sectors and press agencies of Hai Duong province attended the meeting.

The Press - Artists Department currently has 60 staff and journalists working at central and Hanoi press agencies. Over the past year, the Press - Artists Department has admitted 23 new members. Journalists of the Press - Artists Department have produced many press works reflecting and promoting the land and people of Hai Duong, contributing to spreading the outstanding results and beautiful images of Hai Duong homeland.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung respectfully sent his best regards and congratulations to the delegates and journalists on the occasion of the 98th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, and highly appreciated the activities of the Red Star Club and the Press - Artists Committee which have organized many practical and meaningful activities, contributing to the development of Hai Duong homeland.

Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung also briefly introduced the important results that Hai Duong province has achieved over the past half term of implementing the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress and the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term. Typically, the economy has recovered quite clearly, with the gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in the 2021-2023 period estimated to increase by an average of 8.7% per year. Currently, the province's economic scale ranks 11th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide. The infrastructure system is invested in a synchronous, modern direction and inter-provincial connectivity is strengthened. Hai Duong is the 5th province in the country to be recognized by the Prime Minister for completing the task of building new rural areas.
