Due to the impact of storm No. 3, many vegetable seed areas in Hai Duong were damaged, so the supply was scarce, and the price of vegetable seeds increased 1.5 - 2 times compared to the same period last year.

Specifically, the price of cabbage seeds is 90,000 VND/100 plants, cauliflower is 45,000 VND/100 plants, kohlrabi is 25,000 VND/100 plants. In particular, there are types such as heat-resistant cabbage that are very expensive, 60 million VND/kg of seeds.

Seedling prices have increased because many vegetable seedling areas of gardeners and farmers were damaged after storm No. 3. The area for replanting seedlings has also been affected because the soil is wet, making it difficult to plant. Seedlings are scarce, and prices have doubled. Many households that grow winter crops on a large scale have to collect seedlings and buy them at high prices to plant them in time for the season.
