Hai Duong farmers busy with winter crop

On the occasion of the New Year, Hai Duong farmers took advantage of favorable weather to go to the fields to plant and take care of winter crops to ensure the season and harvest vegetables to supply the market.

As of December 30, the whole province had planted 22,238 hectares of winter crops, exceeding the plan by 5.9%; harvested 210,000 tons of vegetables, accounting for about 42% of the total winter vegetable output; plowed 34,550 hectares, equal to 95.3% over the same period last year; sowed 153 hectares, equal to 71.8% over the same period last year.
