The most premium version of the new generation Range Rover with a rear compartment for the boss, the second row of independent seats alone costs more than 1.3 billion VND.
The latest generation of Range Rover was launched to Vietnamese customers in July 2022, in which the most expensive version SV (Special Vehicle) was ordered by customers and started to be brought to the country in small quantities. Compared to the regular version, SV has distinct identification points on the exterior and rear compartment space for the boss.
SV is officially distributed in two versions P400 and P615, the difference is engine capacity. Before 2023, P615 had the code P530 and only one was brought home by Vietnamese customers, the price including options was 28 billion VND. The car in the article is the P360 LWB version with a price of 19.1 billion.
Land Rover offers two exterior packages including SV Interpid and SV Serenity, priced at VND366 million but with separate options. The owner chose the SV Serenity package. The manufacturing technique is similar to that of high-end watch faces. To make the SV logo, artisans will mold it and bake it at a temperature of 1,500 degrees Celsius, then polish it to create a diamond-like shine. The manufacturing process of the SV logo alone lasts 10 weeks.
The cockpit shares a minimalist design language. The leather-wrapped steering wheel is trimmed with wood, integrated with hands-free buttons and paddle shifters, and the multi-information screen behind the steering wheel has multiple display modes. The car is equipped with a 13.1-inch central touch screen. On the 2023 SV version, the cluster of buttons and knobs to adjust the air conditioning system located below the screen are integrated into the screen, giving a neater feel.
The gear lever cluster is also minimalist, with the 10-mode and volume knobs removed and integrated into the screen. The gear lever is made of ceramic, surrounded by a chrome border. The car has an additional option of black rosewood trim with a mosaic pattern worth 102 million VND. This pattern is made from hundreds of 6-8 mm laser-cut wood pieces and arranged by hand.
The highlight of the car is the Executive Class Comfort business seats for the boss. The optional brown leather front seats and cream rear seats are worth VND274 million. The two seats have full heating/cooling/hot stone massage functions and multi-directional electric adjustment. The most expensive option is the central saddle cluster with refrigerator, central work desk and control screen worth VND1.378 billion.
The boss seat is equipped with a footrest lined with fur carpet, fully electric opening/closing. In addition to adjusting the functions individually, this position has a separate button available, the system will automatically push the seat forward, open the footrest, thigh support, push the buttock cushion forward and recline to the most relaxing and comfortable position.
The two entertainment screens are 13.1 inches in size, while the standard versions are 11.4 inches. HDMI or Type-C connectivity.
The desk can be raised and lowered, opened with two wings and rotated left/right at a certain angle. The top is covered with black rosewood with mosaic patterns. The desk has a sensor at the bottom so that the open/close button is activated when the desk is folded to its maximum.
The screen between the two rows of seats has full functions such as opening/closing the desk, refrigerator, curtains, cooling the cup holder, air conditioning, interior lighting and seat functions. Below is an armrest with integrated storage compartment and wireless charging.
The refrigerator can cool quickly, has two glasses with SV logo and a bottle of champagne. The refrigerator door is also decorated with wood pattern similar to the desk.
