Launching the first 'Drug-free Parish' model in Hai Duong

The first 'Drug-free parish' model of Hai Duong province was implemented at Kim Bao parish (Duy Tan ward, Kinh Mon).

Representatives of departments, branches, organizations and the Executive Committee of Kim Bao parish signed a competition agreement to implement the model.

On February 11, Duy Tan Ward (Kinh Mon) launched the model of "Drug-free Parish" at Kim Bao Parish. The Steering Committee for implementing the model of "Drug-free Parish" at Kim Bao Parish consists of 15 members, with the Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee as the Head of the Committee; the Chief of the Ward Police as the Standing Deputy Head of the Committee and 13 members.

At the launching ceremony, representatives of departments, branches, organizations and the Executive Committee of Kim Bao parish signed a competition agreement to implement the model.

Previously, 100% of parishioners in Kim Bao parish pledged to strictly implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and local regulations, especially policies and laws on religious activities; not violate drug laws and actively cooperate with functional forces in drug prevention and control work.

100% of parishioners' families actively participate in the national movement to fight against crime and drug abuse; support the authorities in managing, educating, and helping people who have completed their prison sentences for drug use and those who have reintegrated into the community; build a safe parish with security and order, free of drug abuse...

Duy Tan Ward has a natural area of ​​11.87 km2with 8 residential areas and 11,811 people, has a convenient water and road traffic system. The ward has Kim Bao parish church, has a parish priest, parish council and 500 parishioners living.
