Vice Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung visited the family of the victim of the fire at a motel in Hanoi.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung expressed his deep condolences to the family of Mr. Vu Van Du in Nhu Tinh village (Quang Khai commune, Tu Ky), the father of Mr. VVD and Ms. NTTH, the couple who died in the fire at their rented house on the morning of May 24 in Hanoi. He hoped that the family would soon stabilize their mentality to overcome the difficulties.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented 10 million VND in support from the Provincial People's Committee and 10 million VND from the Provincial Relief Committee to the victim's family. In addition, many organizations and individuals visited and supported the family.

The fire at a boarding house in Trung Kinh alley (Trung Hoa ward, Cau Giay district, Hanoi) on the morning of May 24 killed 14 people, including Mr. VDD and his wife. The couple had just gotten married in early March 2024, the wife was pregnant. Mr. D's family situation is very difficult. Mr. D's father is a farmer, his mother is a seasonal worker. Mr. D has a younger sister who is in college. Mr. D's parents are taking care of and raising his severely disabled older sister.

As soon as they learned of the victims in the fire, the People's Committee of Tu Ky district and many organizations of the district visited, encouraged and provided emergency support to Mr. Du's family with 19 million VND; the People's Committee of Quang Khai commune supported the family with 10 million VND. In recent days, many organizations and individuals... have also come to support and encourage the family.

The family representative would like to express deep gratitude to the provincial leaders, departments, branches, businesses, and benefactors who have cared for, encouraged, and supported the family to overcome the pain of losing a loved one.
