Promoting people's strength in the struggle and refuting erroneous and hostile views

In recent times, hostile forces have continuously distorted Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh Thought, the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws. Their goal is to find every way to destroy the Party's ideological foundation, weaken and gradually eliminate the leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the socialist regime in our country.

Therefore, the necessary task now is to promote the role and strength of the people to firmly protect the Party's ideological foundation, fight against and refute erroneous and hostile viewpoints.

Currently, Vietnam has become one of the countries with the fastest mobile network development speed in the world; with about 75 million people using the internet for the purposes of communication, cultural exchange, study, entertainment and e-business.

However, on the internet, besides useful and positive information, there is also negative and harmful information that is not easy to control and prevent. In fact, VOA, BBC, RFI, RFA used to use radio waves to broadcast to our country, so their access to listeners was somewhat limited, but now thanks to the use of digital technology, their ability to sabotage has increased many times over. Just a smartphone broadcasting live can transmit harmful information to tens of thousands of listeners and viewers around the world.

Millions of people in the country, when accessing dirty information, were extremely indignant at the tricks of inciting, fabricating, defaming, deposing leaders, distorting history, and opposing the Party and the State. Frustrated by this situation, many people immediately used their own personal means and social networks such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Zalo to fight and refute the distorted arguments of "dirty media" channels, mainly from abroad.

At first, it was a single action of individual people. After a short time, because of the same ideology of "fighting the enemy in cyberspace", people gradually joined together voluntarily, from spontaneous to conscious, to coordinate the fight against and refute "dirty media" channels and bad and toxic information. Many people organized discussions, debates, and direct debates in cyberspace with reactionary, extreme anti-communist, "yellow flag" elements abroad and "fake democracy", degenerate, corrupt, "self-evolved", "self-transformed" elements in the country.

Many of the arguments distorting, fabricating, and revising history by reactionary groups at home and abroad have just been released, and were immediately refuted by many people with intelligent arguments and sharp reasoning.

General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong once affirmed: “Trusting in the people, caring for the people, and taking the people as the root is a great lesson drawn from the depths of our country’s history. Throughout the process of leading the revolution, Uncle Ho and our Party have always been deeply aware of the great role of the people, the extremely important meaning of mass mobilization work, and have constantly cared for building and consolidating close ties with the people. Thanks to that, despite our small numbers, our Party still has enough strength to lead the revolution to overcome all difficulties and defeat all enemies, even the most dangerous and brutal enemies”...

From there, we can only affirm that we can protect the Party's ideological foundation and firmly protect the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland against hostile and reactionary forces when we know how to rely on and promote the invincible strength of the masses.
