Promoting the strength of national solidarity in residential areas

* Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien attended the National Great Unity Day in area 12 (Chau Van Liem ward, O Mon district, Can Tho city).

Mr. Do Van Chien suggested that the Party Committee, the government, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front from the city to the grassroots level further promote campaigns to unite people, promote the spirit of "Mutual Love" and link the Great Unity Day with preserving the cultural identity of the nation. Relevant agencies need to effectively implement social security policies, propagate and mobilize people to strictly comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies; join hands to build a model residential area with economic development, civilization - culture, security - safety, aiming for the goal that everyone, every family has a prosperous and happy life.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Lien, Head of the Front Work Committee of Area 12, Chau Van Liem Ward, implementing the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", residential area 12 has promoted through group meetings; mobilized 488 households (reaching 100%) to register to implement the Campaign, contributing significantly to improving the quality of the cultural area. Thereby, the people's lives in the area are increasingly improved, practical and specific works are increasingly spread widely, bringing high social effects, arousing the spirit of solidarity, helping each other to develop the economy, sustainably reduce poverty and improve people's lives.

In 2024, the Front Work Committee will continue to promote propaganda and extensive mobilization from within to all levels of the people about the purpose, meaning, importance and each content of the Campaign; in particular, focusing on promoting people's mastery in implementing practical revolutionary action movements according to the motto "Using people's strength to build people's lives".

On this occasion, the Delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front presented gifts to the Front Working Committee of Region 12, presented 3 Great Solidarity houses to poor households, near-poor households and 5 gifts to typical policy households and disadvantaged households in Chau Van Liem ward.

* Attending the National Great Unity Day at Ba Chang A hamlet residential area (Chau Thoi commune, Vinh Loi district, Bac Lieu province), Party Central Committee member and Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan emphasized that solidarity is a precious tradition and an important factor creating the strength of the nation.

The Vice President requested Party committees, authorities, and socio-political organizations to strengthen propaganda work and raise awareness of the position and role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the cause of national construction and defense. Through practical activities to educate patriotism, heroic traditions, self-reliance, morality and fine traditions of the nation; especially to have a deep understanding of the traditions of the land and people of Bac Lieu, and to have firm faith in the development of the country and the province in the coming years.

To the people of Ba Chang A hamlet, the Vice President hoped that people would continue to promote the spirit of solidarity to overcome difficulties, focus on business and economic development, share and help each other in life; promote the fine traditional cultural identity and the strength of great national unity, determined to strive to build Ba Chang A hamlet as well as all residential areas in the whole Bac Lieu province to become increasingly rich, civilized and modern.

On this occasion, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan presented 16 Great Solidarity houses to poor households in Bac Lieu province; presented 200 million VND to the Bac Lieu Province Children's Fund; presented gifts to the Front Working Committee of Ba Chang A hamlet. Ms. Truong Thi Ngoc Anh, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front presented 5 gifts to poor households. Leaders of Bac Lieu province also presented gifts to Ba Chang A hamlet, presented great solidarity houses, presented gifts to poor households...

During her working trip to Bac Lieu, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan and the delegation visited Uncle Ho Temple (Chau Thoi Commune, Vinh Loi District); visited and congratulated Meritorious Teacher Tang Thi My Hanh - former Principal of Hoa Sen Kindergarten on the occasion of Vietnam Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2023).

Ba Chang A Hamlet has a natural area of ​​242.3 hectares, with 269 households and nearly 1,200 people. People's lives are mainly agricultural production and small-scale trading. In recent years, emulation movements and campaigns launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front have been widely participated and responded to by the masses, achieving many extremely positive results. Notable are the campaigns "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", the emulation movements "The whole country joins hands for the poor - leaving no one behind"...

* Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for National Defense and Security Le Tan Toi attended the festival in Cua Tung village, Cam An Bac commune, Cam Lam district, Khanh Hoa province.

Mr. Le Tan Toi praised the results achieved by the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Cam An Bac commune, Cam Lam district, people's lives are increasingly improved, the rate of near-poor households is gradually decreasing, there is only 1 poor household in the village. Mr. Le Tan Toi affirmed that Cam Lam district is important in developing marine economy, forest economy, ensuring security and national defense. In order to promptly grasp the thoughts, aspirations, issues related to the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people, the role of the Fatherland Front and local mass organizations needs to continue to innovate their methods of operation, improve the quality of supervision and social criticism activities, contribute to building the system and developing effectively; guide people to supervise cadres and party members in residential areas.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations continue to mobilize resources from the community to effectively carry out the work of gratitude, care for and help policy families and the poor in the area; promote patriotic emulation movements, build cultural life, preserve national traditions and customs, participate in environmental protection, actively prevent and combat social evils, promote democracy, participate in supervision, and participate in building a strong Party and government. Thereby, contributing to the successful implementation of the socio-economic development tasks of the locality in particular and of Khanh Hoa province in general.

On this occasion, Mr. Le Tan Toi presented 40 gifts to policy families and poor households; the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Khanh Hoa province and Cam Lam district presented gifts to 20 policy families, exemplary prestigious families and families in difficult circumstances in Cua Tung village.
